Create the Change You Want to Live the Life You Want (regardless of diagnosis…)

Sometimes, we just have to accept a ‘new normal,’ but that doesn’t mean you give up and just bemoan, “Whoa is me…” shares Tammy Durden, President of Tammy’s Office Solutions, a VA company that offers ‘honest-and-real-at-home’ work for autoimmune ‘thrivers’ just like her.

Tammy was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 15 years ago, followed by lupus and an autoimmune damaged thyroid as well. As if MS wasn’t enough, with all three conditions, she wondered if she would never work again. Yet, despite those three diagnoses, that might keep others down, Tammy has thrown herself full-force into two passions — first, providing great services to help move her clients forward in their business success and second, empowering and employing disabled professionals to work from home.

In this episode, Tammy shares her personal and professional philosophy on:

  • How to learn to ask for help and what you need,
  • How to ‘never give up!’
  • Exploring ways to embrace and thrive with your new normal,
  • How you can grow through it or you can become bitter about it,
  • And finally, why living joyfully is a choice
